Hello fellow music "nerds"! smile

I have an urgent problem with my Juno-G (with wich im supposed to play on a large musical in 2 weeks). The volume knob is loose! And it seems 2-4mm higher then the other knobs. And when it moves; i loose almost all the volume. And i have to push it back up.
I NEED to get it fixed in 2 weeks =/ I cant play 5 performances with a piano in that condition.

The piano have been treated nice, and i can seriously not figure out how it happened.

Im kinda handy, so if ppl got some kind of tutorial of how to may "tighten" it or something. It would be greatfully appreciated.

Sincerely.

Sounds like a replacement job, especially if it's cutting out.
It's probably had a knock in transit.

You are going to be lucky to get it fixed within 2 weeks.
So you've either got to 'borrow' one (if you know anyone who has one).
Or 'fudge it'... have the control in a position that works and fix it there with tape.
To control the volume, you can either use a volume pedal, or have the mixer / amp it's plugged into close to hand.

Feel free to have a look, but going from your description is sounds as if the control is physically damaged. Sorry.

Oh... thanks anyway. smile

Is it easy to open up to maybe see myself. Or is the piano built complicated. I wont risk to damage anything further!

Sincerely.

It's probably easy to get into, but;

As the volume control is mounted on the front panel, it's likely there's at least one, or two circuit boards to be removed to get to the part you need.
I've personally never seen one, let alone been inside one.
