Hello,

I have a TD-12 roland kit and just bought a real tambourine, however the tom holders is just a tad too big for the tambourine (think its because of the threads).

Are the newer versions of the tom holders able to fit this? Just to note that its a tambourine designed for a drum kit as it has the holds and secure nut key.

When are the new Roland MDH-12 or 25's coming out to buy, will they fit? Thanks.

Don't know.
However, as the rack is 'standard' size a clamp from the like of Gibraltar should do the trick.

Not off the top of my head..
'Dixon' hardware also fits.

Suggest taking a section of rack tube to your drum supplier, and find the best fit.

The 'new' Roland clamps still fit as the tube diameter is still the same.
As the 'old' clamps where plastic, they could break with ham fisted drummers.
I've not had a problem, but my kit is a permanent set up. If it was being moved often then the clamps could indeed be an issue.
