does anyone know how to get full use of fx etc when using the 4 cable method?

Are you using guitar effects into a combo or stack?

hey stuey!,usualy plug in to a fender deluxe (90watt) or marshall mg (2x12)!
i use a musicman with humbucker in bridge.........thanx for reply!

brill! err dont really know wot effects!tried direct to amp playing live...very wooly sound,heard 4 cable method was a big improvment! -connecting guitar to gt8-
gt8>amp fx loop-gt8 send-front amp-amp send>gt8 return! tried this in the house,clean sound was ok,hit whatever distortion was on.....could have peeled my skin off with volume of it! hope you can help as i am obviously clueless when it comes to sophisticated effects pedals!......thanx again

I know what you mean by sophisticated. I have the GT10 which I think is a little different. I think you may have problems with your signal levels. Also I dont quite know the variation of effects chain possibilities. The best place for help, (its a brill resource) is bossgtcentral.com/forum. Its a user run site. There is a separate group of topics under each model. Very helpful.
