Roland Corporation Japan has now released Windows 7 drivers for most of their recent instruments, including Fantom-X and Fantom-G series, JUNO-G, JUNO-STAGE, JUNO-Di, SH-201, RD-700GX, SP-555 and GW-8. Please visit the global Roland.com website and you will find the drivers under the "downloads" tab of your synthesizer's product page.

Hi,

Glad you launch new Win 7 driver for some of your range.

I found this link at the Roland website but seems incomplete, there is no mention of Sonic Cell for example and says nothing about windows 7.

http://www.roland.com/products/en/Windows_Vista.html

Is there an up-to-date page for this information all in one place or does the customer need to stumble around trying to get details of whether or not what they purchased can actually work on the latest OS's.

Regards

Hi Crypto,

I am pleased to say we do have windows 7 drivers for the Sonic Cell in both 32bit and 64bit flavours. As in structed above, you may find these drivers by going to roland.com, search for sonic cell as the product and go to it's downloads page. Here is a link just in case you have trouble with that.

http://www.roland.com/products/en/_support/dld.cfm?PRODUCT=SONIC CELL

You will also find drivers for Vista 32 & 64 bit, XP, and Mac OS.

Regards

Yes but where are the Vista 64 bit drivers for your products????

Apparently these are not available for most products and the Windows 7 drivers do not work on Vista 64 bit??

I noticed you still haven't released a 64bit driver for the XV-5050.

If anyone is after one, I have managed to create one by using the SD-80 64bit driver. Please note (legally) I did not program or create this driver myself, I simply manipulated another 64bit Win7 driver that Roland released in order to help people who need the help as Roland have stated they no longer support this (fairly modern) hardware

pm me if you need it
