Hi All,

anyone know if Roland are planning to release a home version of their V-Piano, or at least a home digital piano incorporating the same stunning technology?

I have been playing a beat-up old Y&)O§A CLP123 (grins) for over 15 years now and it is really looking so worse for wear, that I have decided to invest in a new Digital piano. I had been looking at many options, until I stumbled over the new v-piano. Truly amazing sound, however for home use the stage configuration and of course the price tag are somewhat restricting. Anyone know if this is likely to change in the near future? If yes I will definitely wait!

Thank in advance for the Info.

Hi Martin,

It is unlikely anyone can answer this question without speculating/guessing, as Roland will not announce future product plans until release is imminent. It would be like Yamaha telling us they were going to launch a new product, giving us 2 years notice, thereby giving us the chance to design a better model to launch at the same time. These are trade secrets so as yet nobody knows. I have worked for Roland for 7 1/2 years and still don't know what is coming out at the NAMM show in January until about 4 days before the show begins. We get to know about new products on a need to know basis.

I think only one person can answer your question and that's Roland Because he is the only one who can make announcement. Until or unless you can do only one thing for the answer and that's wait and watch.

Is the V-piano available now in the market? And what is the part number for one? I am thinking of buying one for my son. Thanks.
