Dear guys from Roland !
You said that you developed drivers few months ago and all what you need is to test this driver on final version of Windows 7!
Do you lie about all your products the same way as you lie to us owners of gi 20 !
Maybe your products are not the best solution for buying, because they dont have a good backup and service !
I will not defently recommend any of your products!
I'm sorry but this post is just out of order.
Speaking as a software developer myself, I know that porting software to a new operating system - even if it's a new version of Windows - can be time-consuming and complicated. Driver software is especially complex and Roland's reputation would not be enhanced if they were to release half-finished software to end users.
Yes, waiting for software to be released is frustrating but I'm confident Roland will deliver on this. Personally, I'm waiting for the GI-20 driver myself and I'll delay upgrading to Windows 7 until it's available.
I've always found Roland's after-sales support to be first class. Bear in mind that the GI-20 is now discontinued and Roland have no obligation to release any new software for it. Immature name-calling and complaining impress no one, shut up and wait for the software to be released.
