Does anyone know why I'm getting such a poor upper range velocity response on the PCR-500?

I'm using a Kontakt 3 test script, here's a picture of what I'm getting.
Notice the large gaps in the upper range:

I'm using the "1-n" default velocity map (which I'm guessing should be most "linear").
