From my recollection, if you get an error message during installation, wait a few more seconds then a popup window from windows 7 will appear and give you the otion to reinstall with the original setting (something like that anyway) Choose this option, and it will install the driver again in Vista legacy mode or XP legacy mode. Windows 7 is pretty good at utilising older drivers as I have found out. Try this and you should get it working.
Hi, I ran into all the same problems, but fixed them as follows:
1. Unzip the folder to a location (don't try to open setup.exe inside the zip folder)
2. Rightclick "Setup.exe" ==> Properties ==> 'Compatibility' Tab
3. Check "Run this program in compatibility mode for:" and choose Vista
4. "OK" ==> Run setup ==> It works!
The 64-bit Vista drivers for my RD-300SX work just fine in Windows 7, I have full range of functions.
Good luck, and complain here if this doesn't fix the problem for you.
