As a chronic RSI sufferer for years now I've been unable to use weighted keyboards (for 10 years now I've used a Yamaha YDP101). Accordingly, this means I can only use semi-weighted keyboards i.e. usually found in the entry level ranges of all manufacturers. Ideally I would prefer a Clavinova-style keyboard (e.g.more formal piano based style) with all the 'bells and whistles' but, of course, all 88 note keyboards of this type are all weighted. However, I found that Roland's earlier KR range had one such machine KR 75 (circa 1999)which had a semi-weighted keyboard but I've been unable to find one. I see there's a newer KR103 (circa 2005)which uses a 'compact progressive hammer-action keyboard' so presumably this is weighted though perhaps not as much as the others. Can anyone tell me if Roland (or anybody) makes a semi-weighted 88 note clavinova-style keyboard or similar? Is the KR103 similar to semi weighted? Anybody selling a KR 75? Anybody know about the KR103 Any help would be welcome.
Best regards
