Hi-

I'm new here to the forum and new to my SPD-S and can't seem to find an answer for what I need to do to set up my ART X-15 midi foot controller to trigger the pads on my SPD-S. Essentially, I want the foot switches on the X-15 to trigger individual pads on the SPD-S.

Has anyone done this (or similar to this) or have an idea how I need to set up things?

I've scrolled through the pdf manual for the X-15, as far as I can see the switches don't generate MIDI note messages, just program change, and controller messages.

OK. That makes sense. Is there a different type of foot controller that could be used?

MIDI bass pedals perhaps?
