The rim and center triggers aren't working properly. When I hit the center above a certain velocity it changes to the rim sound. It happens when I trigger software or use the sounds on the SPD-20. If I look at the event list Sonar X1 I see a different note number when ever the velocity gets around 100 or so. I've tried all pad settings in the SPD-20 but I can't get it to work. I also have a PD-8, PD-9 and Pintech Concert Cast dual zone and they all work correctly. Is this defective?

Solved! I called Roland tech support and found that there are hidden parameters in the SPD-20 that I was unaware or. One of them was rim sensitivity. I turned that down and problem solved.
