considering the purchase of TD9kx2
I've been told by one on the online music stores that I can run
this kit through my home stereo, is this true and what kind of sound
can I expect?
My stereo consists of:
Pioneer VSX-1121 output per channel is 110w
2 PSB-6's
Definitive Tech 10" sub
Well your set-up will take a beating (see what I did there..)
You should be okay, not sure if your neighbours will approve.
You will need a 2 X 1/4" jack to RCA phono lead to connect the TD module to a spare input on the Pioneer amp (any will do except the phono/turntable input).
Bare in mind, the Vdrum kit is going to kick out some large variations of dynamics.
Most pre-recorded music will have the levels averaged out.
Error on the side of caution, don't crank up the amp too much.
