Hi,

I recently bought a second hand boss GT-8. I've made some custom patches and have been using it normally for the past few days. However, it's literally just started to randomly switch patches when I'm playing normally and then will switch back. I've been "playing" with some of the controls so it may have been something i've switched on without realizing but whatever it is it's stopping me from using the GT-8 and is really frustrating.

The rotary encoders (i.e the big Dial) get dust inside of them, and most ecoders are typically optical, so the GT-8 thinks the dial is being turned, when it may actually be dust.
Needs to be stripped down and cleaned..

Okay thanks, Do you think I should take the screws of the back myself and do it or should I take it to a shop?
