TD 30 USB capability

So the new TD 30 is due out in April but has anyone discovered yet whether you can access the drum parameters from your own computer screen yet like you can with almost everything else? It has a USB interface which looks like it's just for upgrades but surely a flagship kit like this MUST have a computer interface so you don't have to fiddle around on the tiny LCD screen. And why are there only 8 outputs? What's wrong with having an output for each input - that would then make it a proper studio piece of kit, not just an expensive executive toy... angry

Would be lovely if it at least give you 8 audio inputs over USB, then Control them via VSTi inside your DAW. It would be like having an outboard Steven Slate Drums / Kontakt VSTi.
