I recently bought a JUNO GI and am amazed there are no lists in the manual or anywhere else for all the sounds/programs/drums sounds/kits/effects etc?? I have tried to find them in the Roland site but cannot find them anywhere? I have also written to Customer support and await a reply but wondered if anyone had any ideas where I might be able to obtain such lists? I have had many Roland/Boss products in the past and there have always been lists of all those things.Indeed I have also owned other makes, keyboards, recorders, drum machines etc and they always supply lists too..??
Thanks in advance to anyone who can help me..
Click on ; "JUNO-Gi Sound List" and once you click on the 'I agree bit regarding the licence agreement' you should download a pdf of all the patch names, including the rhythm sounds.
Was the Juno Gi brand new, used, or a demo machine?
On the synthesiser section you get your a typical bog standard Reverb & Chrous, but you can add 2 MFX (multi effect) processors which offer many different type of effects.
A list of those is found on page 48 of the main manual.
You don't get a list of effects in the recorder section, as it appears the effects a set up in chains depending on the type of application / instrument they are set to be used.
You have a set for recording guitars, another for recording with a microphone (vocals mainly), and another for line level sources (keyboards, a separate mixer, or via USB audio).
Page 109 explains the effect chains, and functions.
The recorder section also has it's own reverb processor.
It took me more than 30 seconds this time... must have been nearer 5 minutes.
Many thanks again S-E-A
It was the guitar effects I was mostly interested in having a list of.. not such a biggie.. just have to scroll through and write down the ones I like..
Cheers
Maybe I should phone Yamaha about my Roland GI LOL !
... ... ...!
Judging by some of the experiences on the Forum, you may have better luck ...!
But, actually, its always better to 'phone the distributor directly, with a query, to speak to a real person, rather that hope that someone bothers to read your e-mail, and reply back to you!
