I've had this, my 3rd SPD-s, for about three years now. I love it, its awesome...however recently I plugged it in and cabled it to the house sound and nothing happened. No sound, no pad lights, nada. So I researched why it might happen, tried changing the MIDI and local control settings...still nothing. Its not passing MIDI data and the audio ports aren't working. I've emailed Roland's support, but I'm hoping someone else successfully troubleshot this issue. I've found very few people who had the problem (which is a good thing, i guess).
Side note: I used a different power supply for it the day it [censored] out on me. Still in spec with the Roland power supply. Could this have caused the issue for some reason? I don't see how but I'm not the expert.
Any help would be much appreciated.
