I just bought a TD9KX2 and was thinking about adding another crash...is this possible? I haven't had a chance to check it out properly yet so I thought I'd ask the experts here!

If not, is there anything that I can do to make it possible?

Thanks for you time smile

Mr Flamtastic (they call me Boom-bastic)..

Well, not 100% sure. I don't have a TD-9 myself..

Is there a "spare" jack connection marked "aux"?
If your set-up has a 3 zone ride cymbal, you could for go the bell and use the cable from that to act as another input, but all the kits will need editing to change the sound from the bell to what ever you wanted it to be.

There is some discussion on the vdrum forum about the TD-9 and the use of splitters.
A simple stereo splitter on the normal crash sill allow an additional crash, but it's going to be the same crash sound.
Using stereo to separate left / right splitters (AKA insert leads) will not work, but might on an "aux" input (if you have one) as these use dual piezo inputs (apparently).
