I'm playing all of the percussion parts on my SPD30 Ocatapad for the musical Jesus Christ Superstar, there's a section of the show where there is a whipping. There is no sound as far as I can tell in the sound bank to use, so I need to mash the sounds that are in there to create one. Any suggestions?

I have so far come up with a couple of solutions. One is to load a Clap and White Pulse (sfx 060) on one pad, with some editing including tuning and pitch bend along with reverb on the W Pulse.
Another is to put together pc3 018 (I1i-i1i, whatever that is) and Clap, without reverb.
Also, if you hit both pads together, it makes for an acceptable whipping.
