hi i am trying to use double kick drum pedals so i would like to reverse the polarity of the hi hats so the pedal is shut when not depressed and open when depressed. it is done in the brain of the pads you produce but i cant find it anywhere in the manual cheers
The TD-20 has a fixed hi-hat function, with varying degrees of openness, so I would assume the TD-12 may have it too.
Another possible solution I found while using a Yamaha DTXpress module was to assign a closed hi-hat sound to the open hi-hat position. That way it makes to difference if the pedal is open or closed.
