someone in V Guitar forums has a GK breakout box for sale, but using the VG-99 with out a GK fitted guitar defeats the purpose of having a VG-99. If you could adapt an ordinary guitar to a VG-99, you would only be using 20% of the VG-99's features. And you would not have any polyphony without the GK pickup, your standard guitar signal would only allow you to play one string at a time.
I suggest either fitting a GK pickup, or getting a Boss GT-10 instead..
