I am trying to update my TD 6V module, and have lost everything, I mean when I turn the unit on all I get is a blank blue display and some of the buttons lite, I followed the instructions for downloading and installing the TD6V version 1.02, but not having much luck, Help!!!!
Hi..i tried the same firmware update and it failed!,it lights up but no text,mine is out of warranty, i was told to contact delatronics, i spoke the guy and he told me it would cost around £200 GBp to repair! so i bought TD9, i wish Roland had put a warning about the consequences of a failed frimware update,
Is this really the case! I've just tried to update my TD-6. Procedure seemed to work except the record light didn't flash to show data being written, now jut get a blank display with several buttons lit, i can put it back into update mode ok.
what is the best sequencer software to use for the update...or di I need to get this to a dealer?
