Hi - Does anyone know how easy it is to set up the the Boss VE20 autotune for vocals and adjust the key or pitch? I now you can set the root key of the song (eg A maj) but how does the unit manage to correct vocals when the key changes during the song - do you have to specify all the main keys and then quickly switch the unit to the right setting, or is it a lot simpler than that?

you can change patches using the pedal but it is not ideal. Details are in the manual.

It is one of the units failings that it does not do this easily !

I am trying to get that T-pain effect, with the pitch correct and electric settings ON, but I couldn't get the desired result. Any other tweaks? Kindly help.

I have been trying the same thing with no great success. I wish the manual was a bit more in depth. It is fine folk saying experiment with it but a working musician does not have a lot of time to do this. I'm giving it another couple of weeks then it is on Ebay !

Yah true. But, I saw a couple of youtube videos on VE 20 which actually had the T-pain effect. am not going to lose hope. Let me work a little hard on that.

I think i've found the settings for T-pain autotune effect on Boss VE 20:
Do as follows:

Pitch correction : ON
Type: ELECTRIC
SCALE MAJ (min)
Gender: +6
Octave: +1
Dynamics: ON
Depth: 100%
Low cut: ON
Tune/SFX: ON
Type: PREAMP
Bass : -2db
Middle: 0
Treble: 0

leave the others parameters just as it is
