Hi all,

I am thinking of getting a VE 20, I play acoustic guitar and sing. I need to know if the guitar will be picked up when playing live??

would appreciate some feedback on this as I don;t want to buy one and not be able to use it live

I would be going straight into an amp or PA nothing in between...

regardless of whether you use the VE-20 or not, while playing an instrument and singing into a mic, some of your guitar is going to be picked up by the mic.
Drums and electric guitar would be more of a problem, and the small amount picked up by the mic would not be noticable in the whole mix.
There should be a noise gate in the VE-20 which will help some, but i would not worry too much about the level of guitar in the vocal mic, sing as close to the mic as possible to keep the surrounding noise levels low.

There is a noise gate on the pedal ! I don't have the hang of it yet. The manual is vague on this subject.

Yes, it will still be picked up whenever playing live since it is acoustic. The noise gate on the pedal? I somehow feel it but not that much.

you can turn the noise gate up !!!
