Volume levels of patches on Juno Stage?

Hi there, I've just got hold of a Juno Stage and have been saving up preferred sounds in the Favourties banks. However, I've noticed many sounds vary greatly in output gain - for example, Crummy Organ gives much less output next to HardRockOrgan1. As a novice with this kind of thing, I was hoping to set them all to more or less the same volume. Is there an easy way to achieve this?

Easy way - not really, but it's do-able.

The only real way is to tweak / edit the patches with the problem, and save them into the user memory, the is 256 locations, should be enough.

Quite time consuming. Plus it's a case of working out if the quiet patches can in fact be made louder, or the loud patches need to be edited to reduce there levels to match the others.
There is a 'patch level' parameter (goes from 0 to 127). P98 of manual BTW
It's also possible the "HardRockOrgan" is using the MFX effects, perhaps adding distortion, this would make that patch sound much louder.

That's what I feared I'd have to do. Thanks anyway

Argh, I've tried to edit the patch, yet can't where to edit the overall Patch Level.

I've pressed EDIT > PATCH EDIT.... but can't locate it.

Can anyone help?

This is where I had access to some of this kit...

When you press the edit button, is there a 'hot key' under the main screen listed as 'General'?
This is why I mentioned P98 of the manual.
Sadly the manual only shows some of the edit screens, I haven't seen one with a 'General' on it.
Having a beast in front of me would be easier.
It might even be a case of 'paging down' a screen.

In previous Roland models (JV series for example), this function would have been called 'Common'.

Keep looking, I'm sure it's in there.
Any Juno Stage owners out there willing to point us in the "general" direction (see what I did there?)..

There isn't, unfortunately. I wish I could fix this asap and I took it to rehearsals and the volume levels are all over the place... will have to use it live tomorrow (twice!) and it's stressing me out.

Not sure about this but I think I've might have found it..

P 69/70 of the manual.

The hot key under the screen - look for "Common" (just like the ol' JV series).
So Press EDIT, and then the first hot key to the left..
Hopefully the screen will come up with;

PATCH
NAME

You can then scroll down with the \/ key until it reads;

PATCH
LVL&PAN;'
You will then need to press the hot key under the level, and then use the data wheel, or INC / DEC buttons to edit the value.

All you will need to do then is store the edited patch, via Utility.

Fingers crossed for you, hope this gets you sorted. Don't get stressed, just keep a hand on the main volume fader.. perhaps if your sound-person has one, insert a compressor on the keyboard channel.
This is a common problem with keyboards, and synths, levels do vary between patches.
Let me know if we've sussed it.

I have done about eight or nine gigs with it, and , as S-E-A.says, control. or buy a pedal.
