Hi, new here. I was wondering if any of you ever use guitar pedals to get different kinds of distorted, funky sounds? I want to buy some plugins and saw Waves is doing a special with their guitar software so I'm thinking about getting it but am not sure if I will actually get use out of it or not. YES - I use a BOSS AD3 a BOSS DS1 and BOSS TU3 and a Boss DD3 - but I use them with me Geeeetarrrr!
I'm guessing this is not what you meant - are you an ivory tickla?

For guitar they are superb - apart from the DS1 - Ive had that since 1979 and it pops and bangs a bit.

I play guitar but yeah I play keys too and meant things like putting keys, vocals or whatever through guitar pedals to get some cool "effecty" sounds. I've heard of people doing this but wanted to know how common it was or if there were any good tips/tricks people had for how to go about it. Other than just plug in and experiment of course
