I downloaded this awesome guitar patches software called GT-10 Fx FloorBoard, which has a linux version.

Unfortunately, the Boss website only has Windows and Mac USB drivers for the GT-10. Is there anyway I can get USB to work on linux? This would be very useful as I use a laptop and don't have MIDI ports on it.

At the moment I can only edit my guitar patches by running windows inside virtualbox. It would be a lot more convenient if I could do it on linux natively.

Thanks for your time

the USB Audio/Midi system is with-in the Linux module called "ALSA", i do beleive the latest ALSA module has GT-10 drivers built-in. But i don't know if that is just the Audio part, or if it includes midi too.
Otherwise you may need to invest in a Linux supported USB/Midi device (Roland/Edirol ones work with Linux)
