Hi folks

I'm totally new to this so any help would be very much appreciated.

I want to be able to assign sounds from the sampler to the pads on the drum machine. I think I have the connections right. There's a midi out on the drum machine and a midi in on the sampler which I've used. When I play a stored pattern from the drum machine it's using sounds from the sampler but that's all the control I've been able to get. The plan is to record/download my own sounds on to the sampler then use the drum pads in a live setup where I can change the sounds being triggered by the drum machine by changing banks on the sampler.

I hope that isn't as clear as mud. I need rescued!
