Hi I have a Fantom x6 and an akai mpd 24. I'd like to connect the mpd so that I can use those pads instead of the x6's pads because I am more comfortable with them. I connected them with midi cables and the mpd is now controlling the fantom but it's focused on controling the keyboad and not the pads. I want to make sure that the mpd is controlling the fantoms pads while in performance mode. The only way I can seem to make this happen is if i scroll over to the drum channel [channel 10] but then the keyboard becomes all drums as well. I want to make it so that I can control the pads/drums via the mpd24 and the other sounds on the fantom with the keys at the same time.
