Dear Sir/Madam,
A week ago we were in NY at J&R;store. In the website it was written that on June 15th the BR-800 will be there for sale. We went to the store and their response was that it was not shipped to them. When we asked about the new delivery dates we were told that they spoke with the importer and it would take 3-4 months.

Could you please let me know when and how I can order/buy the BR-800?

Thanks,

Lior

Hi,

We are not expecting shipments of BR800 into the UK until September. Normally items like this coming from Japan, land in the UK approximately the 3rd week of week of the month. To turn them around and get them out to dealers normally takes a few days, so expect to see them in shops approximately 24-27th Septembewr. This of course assumes there are no problems with the ship travelliung from Japan, and no delays in clearing UK Customs when they reach the port. These are normally the cause of any delays, but believe me, we want these here as quickly as you do!

Regards

tks alot

Yup it is confirmed. I received a shipment of BR800's today. Sorry you are in Canada and not the UK! Hopefully you should receive some to your stores very soon.

I have to say I immediately set it up with my PC and the bundled Sonar LE 8.5 software. It works an absolute treat as a control surface/audio interface for this too!

Good luck

Good stuff, but do you have to hold it in a special way to make it record?

Yahouuuuuuu I just got my BR-800 here in Laval, Canada!!!! at Archambault. I was just passing by the store after work, and i decided to enter just to ask if the seller had some news about the delivery date.... Guess what!!! He had just received one!!!

Yes..... This is an awesome piece of gear. Full of effects, and really really easy to use. I just have some problem figuring out how the loop recording is working, i have hard time to be in sync with the loop start and stop. I guess with practice...

In one night 3 hours , i was able to compose and record song ( music only). The bass emulator is just way tooo cool.

The drum patterns are well categorized, easy to browse, and the Rhythm "aranger" mode is simple too useful.

The sound quality is great... well it's Roland after all! it's a no brainer.

Well i guess i'm now a fan boy.
