Hi,

Can anyone recommend a comapct flash extender. At the moment I am having to tilt the unit to eject the CF card! Also, unless I let my nails grow a bit longer its not that easy to get the CF card out. Be interested to know what the Roland technicians use when a SPD-S is on the test bed.

otherwise loving my SPD-S.

Ok. I've gone for a diy solution involving string and a sticky label - works just fine! No more having to lift the unit up in order to get the CF out and I can cut my nails now!

and the 'Blue Peter' design solution to problems you never thought existed goes to..

Sounds to me if you have a tight slot or card.
There is a CF card slot on the TD-20. I've had no troubles like yours with it..

I've got 15 cards and its the same for all so I suspect its a tight slot or a faulty eject button. So, it looks like I have two faults now (line outs and eject button) .. well, I'm not sending it back. I dont wont to be without it.

No I have exactly the same issue with the SPD-S. Mine isn't mounted on anything so I can tip it up which helps a bit but there's still a bit of a knack to it even then. Ah well. A small flaw.
