hi guys, newbie here...

Well, i found a used gp100 at a bargain price and i'm thinking to buy it.
can i use it strictly for it's effects and completely bypass the preamp section?
(i have already a quality preamp)
does anybody knows?
thanks!

Don't know to be honest..

There are 2 send, and return sockets on the back of the unit.
I'm wondering if you might be able to come in via one of the returns, possibly bypassing the input stage of the unit.

If really is a bargain, it must be worth a punt on trying.

Thanks S-E-A for your input.
Maybe someone in the forum which is also owner of the gp-100 knows to tell me...

i don't know either ,but usually the preamps in Boss gear are bypassable, try downloading the user manual PDF document from the Rolandus site, i am sure the answer will be in there.
