Hi,

Is it possible to load mp3's from a pc onto a usb memory stick, then plug this into a TD9 Brain and play the mp3's off the stick to play along too? Only options i get when i plug a stick in is load, or save a back up and to quick record to the stick.

Thanks

Pretty sure the answer is no.
The USB stick can be used to load in songs in .WAV format.
So you will need to convert them within the PC first.

From P35 of the TD-9 manual:

Songs (audio files) saved on a USB memory key are shown
following the internal songs.
1. Use [+/-] or [VALUE] to switch songs until the top line
of the screen shows “EXTERNAL SONG.”
* You can also hold down [SHIFT] and press [SONG] to
select external songs.

You will not be able to change the songs tempo, or mute the drum track and the such.
You do have the normal transport controls.

Here we go 2 3 4
