I have recently purchased the piano and wish to export my compositions to CD in mp3 or AAC (Audio CD) formats. I am doing this via a USB flash drive. I know very little about MIDI files, so these questions are probably elementary!
My questions are -
(a) is MIDI the only export format from an HPi-7s?
(b) if so, what software is recommended for conversion from MIDI to AAC. I have used iTunes, and the result is poor and the volume is too low. I tried Audacity, which seems to do most things, but it appears it does not handle MIDI files correctly for conversion. Having used 'Dual performance' to compose, after conversion with iTunes Tone 1 (piano) was fine but Tone 2 (clarinet) was awful.
(c) does the MIDI file contain volume information, such that my converted files were too quiet. If so, does this mean that the initial composition must be stored at a higher volume?
