Hi,

I'm using a FS6 dual footswitch to extend by GT10 but am getting an unexpected result - when the FS6's pedals are set to 'latch', it toggles the effect it's applied to on or off (as it's supposed to) but the corresponding light on the GT10 only changes on every SECOND press. As an example, if I were to use the FS6 to switch the GT10's compression effect on and off, it would give this result:

Press 1: Effect on, GT10 COMP light on, FS6 light on
Press 2: Effect off, GT10 COMP light on, FS6 light off
Press 3: Effect on, GT10 COMP light off, FS6 light on
Press 4: Effect off, GT10 COMP light off, FS6 light off

This happens no matter what the polarity of the switch is. I'm getting around it by having the FS6's switches set to 'moment' and the GT10 assignment controls to 'toggle' but this means that the lights on the FS6 are never lit so I have to keep checking which of the bank of lights on the GT10 is on - not always an easy task. Does anyone know of any way to fix this problem?

The FS-6 can be set latching/non-latching, and the GT-10 can be set latching/non-latching via the Assigns.
When both are set to latching (toggle), you end up with a double latch situatin, and require hitting the FS-6 button twice for one switching action.
The best situation is to set the FS-6 to un-latched, and the GT-10 to Toggle for patches which require a toggled switching action, or Moment for an unlatched 'momentary' action if required on another patch.
Save the patch after setting the Assign, then switch from another patch back to the saved one to reset the Asign actions, as not doing this can cause confusion with the Assigns as they are not starting from an 'initialized' state when freshly edited/changed.
