I'm using the GT10 in the effects loop of a Mesa Boogie MkV combo, wired as follows:

GT10 input -> Guitar
GT10 Output -> Amp Loop Return
GT10 Send -> Amp Input
GT10 Return -> Amp Loop Send

I have the send/return enabled in the GT10 effects chain and the loop enabled on the amp. The level is set to the 50% notch.

I'm finding that any effects positioned prior to the send/return work fine but I'm not hearing any post send/return effects. I have the amp type set to combo send.return.

Any suggestions ?

i´m not sure I understand what you want to achieve...why would you want to use the amp models in teh first place if you have a top notch 3000$ amp? I´d ditch the amp modeling section and use it as FX only in the loop of the mark5. .
If you really want to use the internal GT pedals and stuff befors the Boogie and use delays etc in the Boogie´s loop, you´ll have to configure the FX chain accordingly, there you can also set up the position of the GT´s send-return in the chain, which is a cool feature.The S/R might be in the wrong position in the chain which could be wh you don´t hear any FX after it.

I don't use the GT10's amp sims and I absolutely do use the amps natural gain for everything, that wasn't the question.

When using effects some need to be placed in front of the amps preamp section (wah, drive, compressor, modulation, pre gain eq etc..) and some effects need to go between the pre and poweramp sections (ie, in the effects loop) such as delay and post-gain eq etc. Sure you can use your delay before the preamp or the modulation in the loop but they sound very different and may or may not give you what you're looking for (delay before the preamp is too direct and in your face, not very subtle).

My particular issue is that all my pregain effects are working fine but anything postgain isn't.

The amp possibly has a parallel effects loop, so the level control on the back might do the effects mix level, if that is the case, try it at 100% and tweak the GT-10 return level to match.
Test it by turning the amps effects level down to 0%, if you still get on pre effects then the amp has a parallel loop.
