Hello
Is it possible to simply transfer my unfinished songs from the br900 to the br 1600 to complete them?I mean if I burn a CD disk and leave it unfinished can I upload the stuff to the 1600 somehow?
I loved the 900 , I hope i like the 1600.I needed more inputs. thanx
Not sure if it's compatible, I can only suggest you give it ago.
The only other thing I think might help is the BR converter program. Primary designed to allow file transfer between the BR and PC (Wav files) I'm wondering if the it would go BR-900 to wav, then wav to BR-1600.
A bit of messing around, but a plan B option if it works. Plan A being transferring the files via CD.
I'm sorry to say that plan A probably won't work, as the Br1600CD does not read BR900CD data. It will read BR1200CD and BR1180CD data. I will ask our R&D;teams if it is possible to get this happening.
Pity, the 1600 salesman said I could do it.In a perfect world the 900, 1200. 1600 should all communicate easily. Thanks for answering and checking this out.Gosh I hope this doesn't lose sales...
Hi
what can I do until there's a patch or fix for this? My plan is to let my songwriter work with the 900 at his home and then bring the solos or songs to be uploaded to the 1600 for completion in my studio.( and vise versa) THANX for any help.
Glenn - Notwithstanding the advice you've already been given in this thread, but it depends exactly what you want to transfer. For instnace, if you've got an instrumental track mixed down to a stereo track on your BR900, you could use the 900-output to the 1600 input (2 tracks), and then perhaps add vocal etc, and then mix-down and master on the 1600. Well, it's one option.
