A friend has a HP2500s piano but not the stand or pedals.
It has a single in-line 6-way socket on it, but we don't know what type.
It needs to be connected to DP10 pedals, which have phono plugs.
Does anyone know what type the 6-way socket is, and where I can buy a plug to make up an adaptor cable to connect to the DP10s ?
Or is an adaptor cable already available ?
Thanks

This is a tricky one..

I had a look in the manual, and at first couldn't see what socket you where referring to.
On a second look, I realised it's part of the assembly instructions for the stand, and pedals.
The pdf manual that's scanned in isn't showing enough to be honest.

I would be tempted to experiment using a wire between say pin 1 to 2, then 1 to 3.
See if it has any effect. The second pedal may be more tricky.
If you can work out what pin causes what action, it hopefully would then just be a case of wiring a stereo in line socket to those actions. You would have to experiment again to determine if it's screen to tip, screen to ring for those same actions when using the pedal.
If you not happy to experiment, and I can't say I blame you, I think it's an email to Roland to see it they know what connection does what.
I guess these where sold as is with the stand, and pedals. So an adapter cable is unlikely (cue Roland saying they have a warehouse full of them..)
