I know this is a Roland forum ......... but....... has anyone tried any Belcat pedals? They do an analogue delay pedal for 18 quid!!!! They are made in China and I have seen a couple on Ebay that are being sold as "faulty". Now I likes a bargain but obviously don't want to buy something that isnt going to be reliable.

Any thoughts guys?

I think the best advice would be to say please re-read your own post! You say it's 18 quid, is made in China, and you have seen some advertised on ebay as faulty. Do YOU think this sounds like a reliable product?

TBH, I think you have answered your own question. At the end of the day, it doesn't matter what it sounds like if it doesn't work.

Hi Davy, I have tried cheap pedals, multi effects and single effect stomp boxes, and I really believe you get what you pay for to a great extent. I've heard good reports about Blackstar, and Boss are top notch.
There are bargains to be had if you look hard though. I ended up using a overdrive/distortion pedal from http://www.davehallamps.co.uk/Index.html
It's the only thing between my guitar and amp, it's that good!

Yes yes yes I know they must be marginal I just fancied messing about with delay pretenting to be Steve Vai for 18 quid but then reality struck so this morning I got myself a TU3 instead. Its not very exciting but at least people won't throw stuff at us when we are out of tune. Also got a new BOSS PSU but I could not get a BOSS "daisy chain" 9 volt cable anywhere so had to get one from Maplins which looks a bit cheap to be honest.

Any way off to tune up all me guitars now.

Wish I had a delay thingy tho...............................!
