I worked very hard creating these 39 BOSS GT10 Patches using a 64-band Spectrum Analyzer which helped make each patch sound nearly identical to the original artist.
BOSS GT-6B/10B bypass circuitry

Hi everyone,

I have come across the BOSS GT-6B manual and I have read
that the processor features 'internal analog bypass
circuitry', which is essentially activated when bypass is on
and also when chorus, reverb or delay are only used.
So basically the signal does not pass through A/D and D/A
converters in this case, which I personally find it a very
important and useful feature.

Now, I was wondering the following:

1)Is this also featured in BOSS GT-10B? (It doesn't mention
anything about analog bypass in the manual as far as I am concerned).

2) If not, are there any other BOSS guitar/bass effects processors
that essentially avoid the AD/DA converters when bypassed?

Thank you so much, any help would be greatly appreciated!

Boss GT-10 and Windows Vista 64-bit

Correct me if I'm wrong, but there are NO GT-10 drivers for vista x64? What the HELL!? I can't believe it, that's ridiculous. Now I have an option - either get rid of fresh bought OS, or get rid of Boss GT-10. That is damn hard choice, you know. Is there any way to work this around? Are there any drivers coming? I really need to be able to record stuff using USB interface since I can't use line-in(that is complicated story).

Mods, gurus, admins, whoever, answer me.

GT-10 Linux usb support

I downloaded this awesome guitar patches software called GT-10 Fx FloorBoard, which has a linux version.

Unfortunately, the Boss website only has Windows and Mac USB drivers for the GT-10. Is there anyway I can get USB to work on linux? This would be very useful as I use a laptop and don't have MIDI ports on it.

At the moment I can only edit my guitar patches by running windows inside virtualbox. It would be a lot more convenient if I could do it on linux natively.

Thanks for your time

Hi Ive had the GT-10 for a while but not really sat down enough to really sort through some of the cool stuff

eitherway I came across an issue, im using mine with my Ibanez (with floyd rose) and as everyone knows they are a pain to tune, let alone drop tune.

is there any way of drop tuning or transposing your guitar notes via the gt-10????

Ive tried most things, and either im being very thick or blind lol

any help would be had

how to control GT 10 parameters with midi controller

Hello,
I've been trying to connect the GT-10 and a midi controller (Axiom 25) to control some paremeters with it. Until now with no success.

I've read the manual many times. but as I'm kinda new in this midi business I can't quite understand everything.

this are the steps I've been following so far:

1. connect midi controller MIDI OUT port to GT 10 MIDI IN port.
2. didn't change anything on settings, but checked omni mode is ON, Clock is set to AUTO, PC out is on and the RX and TX channels are both on number one, as for the controller, it's also configured on channel one.
3. went to a patch and foolow the steps described in the manual to configure manual parameter settings. Picked target to be patch master volume and source MIDI cc# 71 ( wich is some knob in the controller) activate the parameter manipulation with master button and write the changes.
4. nothing happens when I turn the knob.

Is there some way to Know if my Gt 10 is receiving the messages? so I can tell if the cable is broken or something?

is there another step to coonfigure? help please

Next generation GR20

Hi Folks, long time midi guitar fan here... I was wondering if anyone knew anything about or has heard rumours of Rolands next generation replacement for the GR20. Its 6 years old this year and could be seriously improved with some new chips and higher quality samples.

Would love a better sounding version of the GR20 (in the same big stomp box format) for live use.

All the best
