Hi All,

I have a superb micro cube that I really love. Everything works perfectly except for the volume switch. It stopped working a few days ago. The volume is stuck on I guess about half way. The switch rotates perfectly ok but does not turn the volume up or down. I took it apart to see if there was anything that looked loose, but it was just a bunch of micro chips - nothing I could look at. The amp is not very old.

Any ideas what might be wrong? Cheers, Magicrising.

Hi all
I have a bass cube 100 which I am very happy with. But I did read on a forum that a guy had purchased 3 of these amps to run as one, but he only need to have two together. I would like to know if this is possible to put two units together if so how. Yhis would make transport a lot easier two small amps instead of a bigger rig. If possible would this give twice the output, also would an extension cabinet give more output if so what unit to use.
Many thanks

I have a Roland Cube 60 Bass amp and don’t really know much about it. It has a white tolex box and a black leather cover and was made in Japan. I thought it was from the 80’s but I have been recently told that it is from the 70’s and is worth quite a bit. It is in near mint condition (1 small tear in the tolex) and works and sounds amazing. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

hi everyone,

i got my kc 550 about 4 months ago now, and for the most part, it’s been an absolute DREAM amplifier. but with the gigs i do, i never have much of a reason to push it. hell, this thing on 1/4 is too loud.

but this week, i’ve done a couple of much bigger pub shows where they expect the keyboard amp to carry by itself without going into the desk. I’ve noticed that when I’m playing piano, electric piano, or anything that has a bit of bite to the sound, the amp starts distorting. its a real pain in the [censored], and I’ve had to try and stay clear of using those sounds on gigs. i was wondering if this is a common problem, and if theres any kind of fix to it?

thanks,

My son has managed to completely break the input jack on his Cube 30. I have managed to solder on a fly lead with a simple line input jack socket, so he can use it for now, but of course I would ideally like to put it back to how it should be.

Can anyone advise where I can get hold of one of the fixed input jacks? Roland don’t have them and I suspect I’ll be asked to buy bigger bits than I need. I can easily handle a soldering iron, so just need a new jack socket.

Any help appreciated.

Hi, everyone! Sorry for my English.

I’m using CUBE 20XL.

Some 40XL functions were wanted by me.
But some of them are present in 20XL.

I mean Delay and Reverb simultaneously. Those settings are placed in one knob. So for first sight there is no way to use them both.

But when turning those knobs, I’ve found this way:

1) Turn the knob to ‘Reverb’ so much as you need (including spring reverb too).
2) Turn it in one move without stop to ‘Delay’.
... now you can hear Delay+Reverb and you can set any delay without loosing reverb.
3) To set new reverb go to (1)
4) To reset D+R settings just turn the knob to OFF.

Does anyone know some other hidden functionality?
